Synovial Sarcoma


Abstract
Synovial sarcoma is a specific and uncommon disease of malignant tumor in the somatic parts of the body that arises most frequently in the extremities in the vicinity of joints, bursae, and tendon sheaths.
Authors experienced a case of synovial sarcoma, observed in a 38 year old male who visited with painful swelling and flexion contracture of the right knee joint, and treated by amputation surgically.
But the clinical course was very eventiful.
This paper reviews the clinical features and its pathogenesis with the problems of the management of this disease.
